PADI Discover Scuba Diving

PADI Discover Scuba Diving is the perfect introduction to the underwater world. With no prior experience needed, it is the perfect way to try scuba diving for the first time. Our experienced instructors will show you the basics of scuba diving in a safe and fun environment.
🔸Prerequisites: minimum age: 10 years, good health and fill in this medical questionnaire.
🔸Do I need to know how to swim?
To participate in this program you don't need to be a strong swimmer, however, for your safety you need to be comfortable in water and have some experience with either swimming or snorkeling. Not sure about your swimming? Read more here...
🔸The program:

Theory: Our PADI instructor will take time to explain about safety and the scuba equipment.

Confined water session: You will practice in shallow water to get used to breathing under water.

The dive: When you are confident you will go on our boat to do your first dive at one of the Langkawi divesites.
🔸Prices:
Morning trip 8:30am-1:30pm 2 dives* RM 490
Afternoon trip** 2pm-4:30pm 1 dive RM 350
*2 times diving at a different location with a break in between
**availability for the afternoon trip depends on sea-conditions: in Oct and May very often it is not possible to do afternoon dives because of monsoon wind

🔸Your health: Diving is a very safe and relaxing sport but can at times be physically demanding and you need to be in good health. Before each course you will have to fill in this: medical questionnaire. If you can answer all questions with NO(including the question about Covid19), then you can start your course right away. If you have to answer YES, then get the form signed by a physician before coming to Langkawi, to make sure you are fit for diving.
Do you wear glasses? You will not be able to keep them on during diving so it is recommended you wear contact lenses during the program. If your prescription is less than -2,50, you will be fine under water without any correction.
For health-reasons, do not plan your dive on the day that you are flying!
Booking:
We dive with max 2 divers per PADI instructor and we only take 6 people on our boat; to make sure you have a spot, it is recommended to book in advance. A deposit is required.
